Renewable energy and its financial implications as a component of sustainable development of Poland

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents problems of adjustment of EU countries, including Poland, to environmentally friendly energy sources. The purpose of this article is to show the limitations of swift energy reorganization of the EU states and the possibilities and opportunities to use the existing technology based on sustainable development principles. It also indicates the financial efficiency of the processes described as well as arguments for stable and sustainable changes in the energy sector in Poland.
