Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the role and risk management in public sector units. It shows the risk management process and the role of management control in a sufficiently fast decisions. Also shown at various stages of risk identification by risk score. Poland agreeably with the agreement to the European Union country has developed and implemented risk management in the public sector, reflecting the role played by the management of the preferred embodiment of the targets. Information on how to manage risk in each EU country are provided only for to demonstrate the stability and proper monitoring of risk in order to fulfill the given tasks
