Summary/Abstract: According to the results of previous research, the rigidity of the education system, which results from the lack of compliance with the needs of the market, students with disabilities are insufficiently qualified to continue their education and, ultimately, for employment. The aim of this research was to examine the employability perception of students with disabilities studying at the University of Mostar. The research was conducted on a convenient sample of participants (N=14) whose average age is 23 years (M=23.11; SD=3.76). Of the total number of participants, seven are studying at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, three at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Educational Sciences, two at the Faculty of Health Studies, one each at the Faculty of Pharmacy and at the Faculty of Mechanical and Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The research was conducted online, and participants were recruited in such a way that an e-mail was sent from the contact database to all students registered in the database to their private e-mail addresses with a request for participation. All participants gave voluntary consent and filled out a sociodemographic questionnaire, Questionnaire on the perception of obstacles to career development and continued education, and the Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale. According to the results of the research, students with disabilities do not perceive that they lack the ability and self-confidence to continue their career. On the other hand, they state that they perceive discrimination on the part of employers through attitudes that they will not perform the job as well as students without disabilities. Based on the above, it is important to work on promoting awareness and changing attitudes about the fact that disability can be an obstacle in employment and career development. Also, respect the guidelines they state for the reorganization of work such as remote work, improving the architectural approach, providing advice and support.
