Development of the Karelian economy in 1920’s.

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to trace the pattern of changes which have occurred in the economy of Karelia during the 1920s and to identify the main directions of economic policy of the government. The author concludes that thanks to the huge investments in the industry it began to show steady growth and brought great income to the budget.
