Summary/Abstract: Basing on published sources the author considers practices of Soviet power struggle with the old school historians in the framework of the Academy of Sciences. Special attention is paid to M. K. Lyubavskiy who was among the main accused academicians. As a result of «Academic Case» the sovietization of the Academy was completed.
