Summary/Abstract: In this paper a detailed historiographical essay over the past twenty years issues of academician M. K. Lyubavskiy legacy is given. The author reveals the reasons for the relevance of scholar’s works and the features of their new interpretation. He highlights interest of the modern scientific community not only to the person of the historian, but also to the broad array of issues and problems he examined.
