Local development policy – an outline of new concepts

Summary/Abstract: The primary change in the functioning of self-governed units is connected with creating the climate for cooperation among various actors aimed towards common goals. Management is getting a flexible tool of taking a decision based on casual, horizontal lineages between public authorities and others actors of social and economic life. This is a fundamental change of the traditional model of the functioning of local administration. The aim of the article is to present the concept of local development management.
