The role of a cooperative bank in the creation of entrepreneurship in rural areas Włodawa district

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to determine the significance of a cooperative bank in promoting entrepreneurial initiatives in rural areas. This paper was prepared on the basis of results of tests conducted on a group of 30 companies. An action which can have a significant impact on the formation and functioning of rural businesses is credit support from the cooperative bank. Unfortunately, the degree to which enterprising individuals use such support is relatively small. Entrepreneurs setting up and operating in most companies use their own funds, treating the loan as the last resort.
