General subsidy as a source of incomes for counties of Lublin Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The general subsidy is one of three compulsory sources of incomes of counties. In theory of the public finances it is supposed to constitute financial transfer from the state budget, which is complementing the own incomes of counties. This transfer is supposed to enable the execution of public tasks which were imposed on counties by administrative changes in 1998. The aim of the article is to show the role of the general subsidy in incomes of counties of the Lublin Voivodeship in 2010-2012. The article analyzes incomes of districts of the Lublin Voivodeship with particular reference to general subsidy and discusses a way of creation general subsidy.
