Summary/Abstract: Тhe article deals with the verbal usage of the concept ‘интеллигенция’ in contemporary Russian, particularly, with its derivative ‘интеллигент’ as a part of a current language consciousness of Russian native speakers. New contexts of the word ‘интеллигент’ usage nave determined some amendments interpretation of the Russian language consciousness.
