DIGITALALIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN RSM AS A DETERMINANT OF THE ECONOMIC SYSTEM

Summary/Abstract: Investing in education is a capital investment in the future. Educated and qualified staff can contribute to the development of society and the environment in which we live. Every investment in the education process returns to the state twice. Taking into account these governmental strategic focuses, it is clear that its digitization has also become a current topic in investing in education. Thus, the digitalization of the educational process was established as one of the main focuses of the reform of the national education system. It can be highlighted as a global trend, which will also contribute to the development of the digital society in the country. Successful digitalization in education depends on the application of new information equipment, the development of new digital skills and the interest of young people in this sector. By introducing new technologies and electronic contents and platforms, Macedonian universities have enriched and advanced a large number of operations and services, which significantly facilitate the daily functioning and work of both students and employees.
