Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the issue of the place of the landscape in the updated Fine Arts program for the 5th grade. It presents the possibilities that through practical acquisition of landscape knowledge the State Educational Requirements on the subject could be reached and there could be created the most favorable conditions for acquiring the necessary competencies and for developing the creative energy of each child.
