Restorative Justice from a criminal law perspective

Summary/Abstract: The authors, after focusing on the emerging of the restorative paradigm as a consequence of the (now permanent) crisis of the classical punitive system and the renewed interest in the crime victim, analyse in particular the impact of the restorative justice reform (so-called Cartabia reform) on the Italian penal system, also addressing the potential and limits of its application with respect to particular categories of crime with vulnerable victims.
