Summary/Abstract: With this contribution we try to analyze the theoretical pillars on which the currenthistorical phase of the negotiation process is based. Starting from the analysis of the techno-rationalistphase and the reasons for its overcoming, we will proceed with an overview of the scientific sectors thathave contributed and are contributing to the implementation of modern negotiation strategies from themid-80s onwards.
