Summary/Abstract: The paper reflects on the seventy-year history of Acta Universitatis Carolinae Iuridica, one of the oldest law reviews in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the changes in its content and scope in relation to social and political events, from ideological influences in its early years to its internationalization and inclusion in the Scopus database. The aim of the paper is to analyze the journal’s development concerning various legal disciplines and highlight its role in aligning national law with EU law, as well as its significance for legal scholarship at both the national and international levels. Special attention is given to its contribution to the development of the theoretical foundations of national law and their practical application.
