Summary/Abstract: 1. Origination of European ballet during the medieval ages. 2. Historical data regarding the origination of the Italian professional ballet school. 3. Impact of musical development, creation of new musical forms and theorizing of music upon the development of ballet forms and creation of theoretical works regarding dance and ballet. 4. As early as the beginning of the XV century we encounter many names of dance teachers, who were also the first theoreticians of the Italian ballet and founders of the Italian classical dance school.
