Summary/Abstract: The text examines the songs for horo from Northeastern Bulgaria. Subject of exploration is the correlation between verse and melody. The aim is to reveal what is the influence of the poetic text over the rhythmic structure of the melody. In conclusion are made some inferences about the rhythm formation and metro rhythmic build of songs for horo from this region of Bulgaria.
