The article claims that in 2011–2013 the Lithuanian newspaper industry has been functioning in the stage of decline, the magazine industry in the maturity stage, the industry of the periodical press (newspapers and magazines) in the decline stage, the industries of radio and television in the maturity stage, and the internet media industry in the growth stage.
