Summary/Abstract: The following paper describes and analyses in a complex way the implementation of the most recent EU instrument in the field of information gathering, namely the EU spatial data infrastructure called INSPIRE in the Czech Republic. The INSPIRE aims to make spatial or geographical information more accessible and will assist in policy-making across the boundaries.
