Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the process of the europeanisation of mining law, which is the traditional national legal sector falling primarily within the national competence of individual states, on their national territory are deposits of mineral resources. The author outlines the basic effects of EU law, but also the regional rule making of European organizations (Council of Europe) or organs (UNECE), on the national laws relating to the extraction of mineral resources in individual European countries. The Europeanisation of mining law takes place, particularly in relation to the need to ensure work safety, environmental protection and human health and, most recently, also with the need for the security of supply of critical raw materials. At the same time, the author presents decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice related to mining law.
