Summary/Abstract: The article deals with one of the exceptions to the obligation to provide environmental information - trade or commercial secrets. It analyses the regulation of trade secrecy and its definition. At th e same time, the article is focused on the practical application of this exception from a historical perspective, current cases and judicial decision-making practice at national and European level.
