IMPLEMENTATION OF LEAN MANUFACTURING’S ELEMENTS AND RELATED ROLES OF EMPLOYEES ON THE EXAMPLE OF MANUFACTURING COMPANY

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the following article is to show the stages of implementation of the LM and every employee’s role during this transition. The employees were divided into three groups, i.e. chief management, lean staff, production workers; and the focus was put on the tasks each member had to perform. The empirical part presents the stages of implementation of the LM as an example of one of Polish pharmaceutical company, the organizational struc¬ture of the LM in this company, and the functions of its various units.
