Risk Management as the Prevention of the Enterprise Crisis

Summary/Abstract: Management crisis evidently has overtook companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thus, it inevitably imposes the need to change active measures for mitigation and overcoming of such a situation. Risk management, together with early warning system for company crisis appearance, represents one of the most suitable instruments of anticipated crisis management in the process of predicting of crisis and reacting to its' first symptoms. Risk management is a comprehensive process, starting from the phase of recognition and risk evaluation to its classification. Risk management represents a process with an aim to evaluate and minimize probability of effects of unfavourable events to a company, that is, to the company's business running and existence. In this work risk management system and process are represented, as well as various risk management strategies in the process of prevention of companies' crisis. Apart form the above stated, results of the survey on prevention of management crisis, conducted in BH companies, are also given. The results implicate the need to create risk programme as well as instrument for prevention of company's crisis.
