THE ARHETYPE OF THE ORGANIZERS OF SPECTACLES AND FESTIVITIES IN THE ERA OF ANTIQUITY

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the history of the unions of the technites of Dionysus. In the cultural history of the ancient world, the Dionysus technite communities are the prototype of the modern event industry. The article examines the origin of these communities, the etymology of the word technite, the composition of the participants of these communities. It also reveals the functionality of technites in the festive culture of the ancient era. In addition, the nature of the activities of the Dionysian unions and their position in the system of Hellenistic states are indicated.
