Ways of Applying the Vocative in the Maramureș Subdialect

Summary/Abstract: The Maramures subdialect is the fifth subdivision of Daco-Romanian (alongside the Muntean, Moldavian, Banatian and Crisian subdialects), having its own dialectal particularities in all of the language compartments. It is also individualised at the morphology level, through ways in which the vocative is expressed by forms in which the accent is shifted from the literary language through the use of variants where apocope operates.
