Summary/Abstract: The paper explores social media statements made by Polish poli cians between 2016 and 2024(on Facebook, Instagram, and X) that were addressed to ci zens, whose responses were alsoincluded in the study. The author intends to establish the extent to which the forms of addressused on social media diff er from those used beyond them. Two research ques ons were asked:1. What type of forms of address do the interlocutors use?, and 2. How are the forms of addressstructured (e.g., with respect to spelling and formal aspects)?
