Summary/Abstract: Religious coping has been defined as cognitive, affective, and behavioural coping mechanisms based on religious belief and practice. Experiential system is a concept from Cognitive-Experiential Theory by S. Epstein (CET), a parallel cognitive system that functions based on affect, experience, and associative learning. This article explores the interaction between religious coping and the dimensions of the experiential system operationalized as coping strategies. Integrating these strands provides a deeper understanding of how individual religious beliefs influence adaptation and coping.
