Summary/Abstract: Article relates to the discourse about the alternative methods of voting In Poland. Author concentrates on the background and the sense of postal voting in the global scope. There are legal solutions presented connected with this way of voting in different states. He emphasises the growth of interest in such way of voting around the world by presenting the statistics. There are advantages presented but mainly threats which might be the result of such way of voting. Furthermore, there are presented arguments for introducing postal voting in Poland. The analise of politician’s declarations and legal projects is made in this scope and their evaluation.
