Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to find answers how a country can avoid to stuck in a middle-income level. Accordingly, the beginning of the paper describes the theory of the so called “middle-income trap”. After this are presented the experiences of South-Korea and Singapore, which can represent solutions on how can a country pass through to the middle-income level. The final part of the paper summarizes the investigated case studies and draws conclusions.
