Summary/Abstract: The concept of nones refers to people who declare themselves as not having a specific religious affiliation, often identifying themselves as 'no religion' or 'undeclared'. This term has gained popularity in studies of the sociology of religion, particularly in the context of modern societies where many individuals choose not to align themselves with organized religious traditions or institutions. Nones can include a wide range of beliefs and practices, from atheism and agnosticism to secular spirituality or less conventional forms of spirituality. This category reflects current trends of secularization and diversification of religious identities, highlighting changes in how individuals understand and negotiate their relationship with the sacred in the contemporary context. Studies on nones contribute to a better understanding of social and cultural dynamics, as well as the impact that the secularization process has on community cohesion and moral values.
