ELEMENTS OF TOURIST ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE LOCALITY SOMEŞ COLD

Summary/Abstract: Touristic attractivness of an area, including its economic elements are discussed. Somesul Rece settlement is placed in a geographic area of interference, in the Western Mountains, on the lower Somesul Rece River, a tributary of the Little Somes. Bear River Valley receives as tributaries, Dumitresei valley and Răcătăului valley. The village lies between two hills, cut deep cold river Somes, which may follow different geology of mountains. The village lays in the western part of Cluj county, in the upper basin of the river Somes Mic 22 km far from Cluj-Napoca, the county seat. The E60 Cluj-Napoca - Oradea European highway is situated near the settlement.
