Summary/Abstract: The author aims at making a through presentation of the relationship between cross-cultural communication and the business sphere’s business communication, according to the classic definitions and classifications made by Trompenaars and Hofstede. She describes culture conveying models and the different cultural blocks all over the world, with their typical features that always have an impact on business life and on community and individual responses given to whatever stimulus we might face. Globalisation and avoiding risks are essential aspects in understanding the way companies react to challenges in the business world.
