METROPOLIZATION IN POLAND – CHANCE OR UTOPIA?

Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the article is to present theoretical problems associated with the metropolization process in Poland. The second aim of the article is to present the author`s concept of the metropolization which is promoted in Poland instead of “inefficient” cohesion policy. The author points to the utopian views on the opportunities to build a metropolis in Poland on the basis of public resources.
