It is especially important in Poland, where the lack of infrastructure can be easily observed. National Regional Development Strategy 2010-2020. Regions, Cities, Rural areas is a strategic document that describes the main objectives for regional development in Poland for the next 10 years. This document emphasizes the need for strengthening the non-material factors essential for building new economy. There is also a lot of place there devoted to infra¬structural improvement in big agglomerations and rural and peripheral areas.
