Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present contemporary achievements of the world and Polish research of the spatial aspects of crime. First the paper discusses the issues undertaken in the world and Polish research of crime geography, taking into consideration their features. Then it shows the differences between the world and Polish research of the spatial aspects of crime.
