Public safety state and growth perspectives in Lower Silesia Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: Geographical location of a region is of great importance in terms of public safety. For this reason, Lower Silesia, which shares borders with the Czech Republic and Germany, is subjected to additional difficulties in ensuring public safety. The purpose of this article is to present state and perspectives of growth of public safety in Lower Silesia Voivodeship. The article discusses the following topics: 1) crime in Lower Silesia Voivodeship, 2) information on police and border guards, and 3) the prevention of crime in Lower Silesia Voivodeship at the national and international level.
