Summary/Abstract: This article deals with one of the most interestin manifestation characteristic for Tito's personality cult. Tha baton dedicated to Yugoslav leader's birthday took place in 1945 or immediately after the war. In 1957, in the aftermath of 20th Congress of CPSU, the event changed its name into "Youth baton".
