Summary/Abstract: Discrimination in all its forms is increasingly discussed topic. Anti-discrimination activities are becoming part of many policies and mechanisms for providing resources from EU structural funds. Non-discrimination principles are already reflected in Article 16 of the Council regulation on the ERDF, ESF and CF and are also part of national legislation and the various strategic documents and particular operational programs. The paper focuses on the integration of horizontal priority “non-discrimination” in a specific Operational Programme (OP Health) in all phases of its implementation, starting with programme design, through the principles of project selection to monitoring and evaluation. It focuses on three major dimensions of discrimination, namely gender equality, the problem of marginalized Roma communities and access for the disabled.
