Peculiarities of Junior School Children’s Creativity in Music Activity

Summary/Abstract: Creativity is widely analyzed by psychology and pedagogy sciences as a complex phenomenon, which manifests itself in different fields of human activity and music activity too. The aim of this research is to reveal peculiarities of junior school children’s creativity in music activity. This article presents the results of the scientific research, in which 205 I–IV form pupils took part: the peculiarities of junior school children’s creativity at the time they interpret, compose or evaluate music; emotional experiences in music activity; the peculiarities of activity fluency, flexibility, sagacity, originality expression; similarities and differences in sex and age facets.
