Improving the efficiency of public procurement and SME sector

Summary/Abstract: Effectiveness in public procurement is a very important issue because public resources are common property for all community. Most of public procurement is performed by large companies, but its realization is often unsatisfactory. The entities of the SME sector even though they have a weaker market position are able to find niches that are used to gain an advantage. SME, more often than other subjects use the solutions based on efficiency or innovations. This evaluates the SME sector on the market of public procurement and its influence on the economic efficiency of the entire public procurement system in Poland.
