Summary/Abstract: It is well-known that New Zealand was a British colony. Although New Zealand is still heavily influenced by its colonial identity, it is amazing the way this country has developed since The Declaration of Independence (1835). Based on the foundation of some travelling notes from New Zealand, Australia and Dubai, from early 2010, this study aims to answer to the following question: What is the standard towards which New Zealand language and civilization refers itself today?
