The Ukrainian Hetmanate during the years of I. Mazepa's rule (the reply to the opponents)

Summary/Abstract: In the article there is the reply to the notes, made during the discussion about the author's book «Iwan Mazepa and Rossijskaja imperia. Istoria «predatelstwa», which were dune by a number of the historians. Author is mainly referring to the signifi cance of rents, meaning of the «dogovorny statji» between the Ukrainian Hetmanate and Moscow State and to the reforms of Peter I, done in 1707 towards the Hetmanate.
