Summary/Abstract: The present study analyzes the psychological features of the individuals revealed by Transylvanian last wills from the XVIth and XVIIth centuries. The main hypothesis of the authors is that testaments can provide a historical, psychocultural and psycho-social diagnosis of a given society, in a given period of time.
