Summary/Abstract: St. Ieroteos between Ultrasilvana and Pannonia. With beatification of Hierotheos as a Greek bishop by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in 2000, it is reopened a page in the Romanian-Hungarian relations in obscure century. Key reading this time is based on transculturations elements, updating cultural corridor, with the light converting Hungarians to Christianity in the Eastern rite. Beyond the cultural and historical and archaeological aspect of the problem opens the prospect of a Romanian-Hungarian medieval civilization called into unity in Orthodoxy. The present study aims to examine briefly the presence of the bishop of Alba Iulia Ierotei mid of X century.
