Summary/Abstract: Conflicts are major threats to human security. For this reason, the international community has created new tools to enforce peace, maintaining it, but also creating conditions for these nations to enjoy lasting peace. To describe these operations, the terminology is diverse, ranging from peacekeeping operations, stability, stabilization and reconstruction.
