Preparing agritourism farms for the disabled tourists based on the example of selected objects in Jelenia Góra district

Summary/Abstract: The objective of the hereby paper is to discuss problems of agritourism farms adaptation for the needs of the disabled tourists. The introduction presents selected aspects of agritourism and its influence on regional tourism offer extension. Next the author discusses forms of tourism typical for the disabled as well as possibilities for taking advantage of such a tourism model by the disabled. The article also illustrates research results regarding agritourism farms preparation and possibilities for the disabled tourists participation in agritourism in Jelenia Góra district. The author also suggests proposals of improvements to be introduced in agritourism oriented objects in order to adopt them to the needs of the disabled tourists, considering tendencies occurring in the societies of the European countries.
