Summary/Abstract: The article describes the effects of socially passive children’s participation at work with the project approach method. Topics of projects resulting from the interest of young children encourage them to undertake various actions and, with the support from teachers and peers, motivate them and give courage to perform different social roles in a team working on a task. The experience of perpetration, satisfaction with the efficiency of their actions and alteration in their behavior cause that other peers begin to see them as socially attractive and useful. All this improves their image, increases their popularity and leads to their frequent participation in group life.
