Summary/Abstract: The researcher of a life of a society irrespective of from what theoretical and methodological preconditions and the bases proceeds, always „participates“, „is included“ in a life of the society. Such participation is traced as on personal, whether and on professional levels of behavior of the researcher irrespective of it from research process tries „to discharge“ the personal motives, orientations and to reach the maximal degree of „neutrality“. The fact of active participation and from the researcher in research process, its contact to the people, appearing involved in such cannot form the basis for carrying out of precise border between so-called quantitative both qualitative methods and procedures of social research. Differentiation of these methods and on the basis of structure of procedures, their strict organization which are not leaving neither to the scientist, nor other participants of research of the big field for „improvisation“ is very conditional. R.Merton is convinced, what exactly the clear logic structure of hypotheses allows the scientist to receive new knowledge, „to notice“ interesting deviations from the accepted model of an investigated situation. From the beginning of the 60 х (years) in sociology – phenomenological understanding of character of the attitude between scientists and „reality“ affirms a little bit various from classical definition of the purposes and opportunities of social research. The researcher and investigated are not simply included in any in advanced planned and it is good structured a research situation, but create a new where appear on one level „actors“ with others. Though in phenomenological sociology, especially in the ethno-methodology the scientist all the same remains to „scientists“ – the observer, differs in the essential plan from investigated, its installation on a situation varies. Speech here does not go only about refusal of the structured questions both the directed supervision and accent on depth, completeness of interaction. It is a question of how the research situation „is designed“. The researcher supposes and stimulates самостоятелую a definition of a situation from investigated persons. In this point arise, as it seems to me very interesting research questions.
