Summary/Abstract: In review of book “Party at Ekrman” by Ranko Pavlović author pointed to its thematic, linguistic and conceptual base and specificity. The book is characterized by specific genre that is not easy to determine - it is a collection of essays that sometimes border on the short story. The book features liveliness and conciseness of style, and focused critical views. It is thematically and ideologically based on questioning the phenomenon of literature in its various appearances, and thematization of personal experiences, theoretical thinking and aspirations “to tell the truth”; One of it’s recognitions, with conceptual and linguistic richness, is the ability of authors to clothed the topic with humor.
