An Integral Method or a Creative Approach?

Summary/Abstract: Elsewhere - in the book Knjizevna kritika i nauka o knjizevnosti (,Literary Criticism and a Science of Literature'), which may soon be published by the Zagreb publishing house Zora, and most of which originally appeared in six instalments in the Zagreb journal Knjizevnik in 1960 - I tried to discuss critically a number of current problems of literary theory. Since certain conclusions of those papers seem to me to be relevant to our current discussion of the method and the approach to a literary work, I shall try to present them under six comparatively short points.
